Advisory Board - FY2000
The Blue Ridge Perinatal Council Adisory Board was created in early 2000 with the goal of providing valuable insight, suggestions and assistance in identifying strategies for increasing awareness and recognition of the BRPC and the sustainability of its staff, programs, and initiatives.
While the BRPC previously had an Executive Council, the intent of establishing the new board was to create a diverse, multidisciplinary group, which can act as a sounding board and provide leadership/guidance for BRPC staff and members. The Advisory Board consists of BRPC leaders and representatives of the lead agency, a local fatherhood initiative, social services, consumers, public relations services, legal services, and financial services.
