All hospitals in the region have Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) instructors to certify and recertify their own staff. Perinatal Outreach Education facilitates the use of the Carilion Health Systems’ NRP and Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) Courses.
A variety of staff members from the Perinatal Center and the Prenatal Diagnostic Center at Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital serve as speakers for programs. Contact the Coordinator of Perinatal Outreach education to arrange a presentation at your facility.
